According to the Googles the seven are, Golden Gate Bridge, Hoover Dam, the interstate highway system, Kennedy Space Center, Panama Canal, Trans-Alaska Pipeline and World Trade Center. Rule of thumb is that a story is about 10 feet. I think Jenn's got it right. Gambling is kind of a waste. I can throw away money and have more to show for it. And, remember, they could have named to dam after the vacuum cleaner.

My father used to say that, to keep from going overboard on gambling, don't think of it as an opportunity to win big money. You'll be disappointed and broke. Think of it as an evening's entertainment. Decide how much you're going to spend. Is it the same amount as a movie, a concert, a play? Spend that much. Have fun. Then, show's over.

If you are looking to experience some of the old family style of Vegas go to circus circus, it has a full amusement park with about a dozen or so rides, carnival games and full on circus acts, the circus acts and amusement park are in two different areas of the casino so make sure you see them both.

As an OTR truck driver since February 1990. I drove across the Hoover Dam 4 times between February 1990 - March 1993 on US Hwy 93. Very narrow 2 lane road, it was kinda freaky driving across the Dam. Thankfully, they built a new US Hwy 93 bridge, shown in your video. But never drove across it yet.

Since Jen hasn't been to Arizona, you should make a trip to Arizona. We stopped in Chloride, AZ like 20 years ago. It's a mining town that's become an artist area, but they also have a ghost town area with gunfights. Also a delicious restaurant. Bring cash.

The visitor center at the Niagara Falls (NY) Power Vista is similar to the visitor center at HD. Interactive exhibits describe how the power of Niagara Falls is harnessed to make electricity. Seems to me that J & J would enjoy it and that it would make good content. Great view from the overlook, also.

Nevada is pronounced with the “a” sound like you pronounce Apple. Not with the “ahh” sound. Jacob needs to go to eastern Washington State and go see the largest hydroelectric dam in the USA and North America. Grand Coulee Dam is an incredible site to see. Memorial Day to Labor Day there is a laser light show on the face of the dam. Most people have never heard of this dam.

Lake Mead has always been able to replace its water loss after winter when the snow melted in the Rocky Mountains. The problem is the dam serves nearly 20 million residents across the west and in parts of Mexico! A single lake serving that many people won’t be able to make up for the additional water needed to maintain pool level.

I'm not sure if it is considered one of the "civil engineering wonders of the United States," but the Horseshoe Curve in Altoona, PA is still considered a feat of engineering. Built to more efficiently move freight towards Pittsburgh, PA it's a pretty ingenious way to move trains over the Allegheny Mountains of PA.
