I love that the first moment Seven makes eye contact with Janeway, as if to say "how dare you do this to me", Janeway doesn't flinch or shy away. She knows Seven hates her for it and accepts it as an expected consequence. She doesn't let it sway her, she doesn't back down, she doesn't try to divert the blame, and she doesn't say sorry. She *holds her course*, come what may. Such a small character moment, just a lift of the chin, but it communicates worlds of determination. Kate Mulgrew did such great work when the script gave her the chance. Sadly, it often didn't.

Go listen to some GOP RNC seminars, and tell me you can come out without being pale faced in your enlightenment. Trump was elected as a 'pen man', not because anything he has ever said or done meant anything, only that he was stupid enough to control. They only want him since he will sign anything that Democrats oppose, anything. ALL partisanship, whether it be DNC based, OR RNC based, is bad for the people. Sometimes an opinion is popular because it is a better opinion to have. You need to have a working brain to know the difference, some do not, and see all popular opinion as bad due to prejudice compensating the lack of mental facilities.

When I was young, I was very happy about this point in VOY. More tech and OP character that can be explored like data. Also boobs. But now I see how artificial that was. Kes and Janeway had such intense and great acting going on. And Kes's story was a bit slow burning but essentially great. (And ny now, I even find her hotter) After 7o9, Mulgrow grew resentful and her acting became less serious. All the stories just centered around the Borgs features or what the doctor could do. And how were the human characters to compete with that? Over all I wish the show had a more focused theme, like DS9 had. Where DS9 concentrated on WWII, Casablanca, race and religion, VOY could have focused on the hubris and other themes of the odyssey. While they tried, it never felt like it. The VOY mostly began an episode on its status quo.

To be fair, she was Borg from too early a childhood to remember anything else. Kinda like freed slaves who went back to work their former masters’ farms because they knew no other way to live.

I suppose that means that they're individual after all, as they both accepted the same thing with individual attitudes.

Maybe this has been addressed, but i feel like if enough decent people were assimilated, their minds would become more powerful overtime and actually change the borg from being so violent to more diplomatic.
