i feel like the people who choose these outsider bands to make Sonic music are not only geniuses for such an idea, but also incredibly incredibly skilled at what they do for choosing such specifically unknown bands/people that most people hadnt heard of before that always end up absolutely crushing it. Steve Conte, All Ends, Cash Cash, Runblebee, hell even Crush 40 were an unknown ass group before Sonic picked them up. whats even crazier is that everyone did their job PERFECTLY, i genuinely thought the Secret Rings and Black Knight OSTs were by Crush 40 for the longest time because of how well they fit, and not just fit but exceeded at their goal. i just think its amazing how many fantastic, dedicated, passionate people have been involved with Sonic over the years

I'm not gonna lie here: I actually think Sonic And The Secret Rings had one of the most underrated soundtracks in video game history! I mean I can see where people are coming from when they say it's all lyrical music and it can get annoying but in all honesty, I actually like the lyrical music! Yeah I said it! I love the rocky/Arabian beat of 'Seven Rings In Hand', I think that the level lyrics fit perfectly with their respective themes, and overall I just really enjoy Sonic And The Secret Rings' soundtrack. Although the game itself isn't that good in my opinion...

The game had an awesome soundtrack, but it had so many side-missions some too frustrating to complete), the gameplay was similar to a race-track, the mini-games lacked any of the fun that Mario Party games had, the bosses ranged from too easy (the Sand Scorpion) to too strange (the Pirate King) to too annoying (the Ifrit) to impossibly difficult (the first Erazor Djinn fight), the levels lacked any "Arabian Nights flair" (I don't remember reading about dinosaurs in there, but I may have missed that chapter), and the ring game mechanic made too...I don't know, unlike a Sonic game? So in conclusion, the game is under-rated, but it's under-rated for a reason.
