A beautiful country ruined by the people that live there. I visited a long time ago and the people of the Cape seemed to be living in a bubble. I doubt if it’s paradise if you live in a squatter camp. Corruption is rife, the ANC are doing very little for the majority of folks living in the camps whilst the politicians are living in luxury and lining their pockets. Power outages and water shortages are common because of bad/corrupt management....the list goes on!

No! Gordon's Bay is not the best place to live. It is the worst. It is riddled with crime and beggars and car guards harassing you all the time. It is dirty and has no attractiveness whatsoever. If you want to see a beautiful place to live come to Struisbaai and Agulhas. Ten times better than Gordon's Bay.
