Seven Tips for new Marvel Champions players!

I make mistakes all the time. And on my channel I made a ton of mistakes in my first few games I played on the channel. I don’t feel bad about making mistakes, and when I’m playing on video especially. I really feel like too many channels only show perfect games, and that can make new players feel like you have to play “clean” or you aren’t doing it right. It’s okay to make mistakes. We all do it. And the same thing with losses: I share wins and losses, I don’t care about my win rate. But the joy of the game doesn’t come from winning for me; I just enjoy playing.

Great tips! For tip 7, I had so many decks on MarvelCDB that I ran out of room and had to delete a bunch of my older ones. Luckily, they let you have more than 400 of them, so by the time you get to that number, you have plenty of "defunct" decks to get rid of. 🙂

Now I watched to the end. Man the 40 card thing drives me nuts. 41-42 is essentially indistinguishable from 40 cards, and unless you play 1000x you won’t notice the difference. Most people aren’t playing a single deck often enough to notice. Also, you are punished for going through your deck, so there’s a built-in cost (encounter card).

@WinningHandPodcast definitely lol. Actually, I like to keep Iceman at 40 for Cryokinetic Perception, just because every card over 40 is a non-Ice card you might draw with CP and deny your ready.
