Seven continents, all unique. Seven Worlds, One Planet is the latest natural history landmark from BBC Studios’ Natural History Unit, narrated by Sir David Attenborough. The series will showcase the rich diversity of Earth’s seven continents and what makes each one unique.
This extended first look trailer features a collaboration between performer and songwriter Sia and composer Hans Zimmer, who join forces on the original song ‘Out There’. Composed by Sia and Hans Zimmer, arranged by Andrew Christie and produced by Russell Emanuel for Bleeding Fingers Music.
Millions of years ago incredible forces ripped apart the Earth’s crust creating our seven continents - each with its own distinct climate, its own distinct terrain and its own unique animal life. From the colourful paradise of South America to the scorching heat of Africa, Seven Worlds: One Planet showcases the true character of each continent in turn and reveals just how it has shaped all life there. Be surprised by unexpected stories. Marvel at iconic landscapes. And be awestruck by spectacular wildlife. Seven Worlds: One Planet is an eye-opening journey around a world you thought you knew.

Unfortunately I feel like many people dont truly appreciate the extraordinary effort the photographers/camera men and women go through to get these amazing shots thats we're so used to seeing. Many a time risking their lives to try and educate and send us a simple yet powerful message. To look after this world and all its inhabitants before its too late. Kudos to everyone involved in making these documentaries. They will inspire generations to come ❤

This is the exact thing i was going to write down. They work extremely hard to get this amazing footage. Sometimes they have to wait for 1-2 months for a documenting even a hunt in a extreme climate. Kudos to them for bringing us closer to nature and letting us see things that we could hardly see.

I saw a report about one of the photographers/cameramen of this documentary. He sat there at a beach he had filmed, explained his work and then started crying, when he talked about how all of this is probably going to fade away soon because of us.
@Ali-mj2gm
@Ali-mj2gm 4 жыл бұрын
That’s honestly really sad. I want to study ecology and the fact that the cameraman feels that way says a lot about what may come. Unfortunate that people in charge don’t really care about this guy’s sentiment nor about the health of this planet. It scares me to think if we’re the only planet with life as we know it, that we’d have failed life itself

The doco is outstanding, as usual for Attenborough. Sia's spectacular emotion-charged voice is what brings the feels. It's setting a new high bar for nature docos. I watched this with tears rolling down my face. As a trained research biologist, who fully grasps the consequences of the dire situation our planet is in from the catastrophic climate change event that’s now occurring, it’s overwhelming to think we will lose most the species of plants & animals that exist today, to the cataclysmic global extinction event we now find ourselves in as a result. And none of this had to happen if the powers that be had acted 25-30 yrs ago. None of it.

After watching so many of these, it's incredible how they consistently bring new incredible sights and views that I feel like have never been properly committed to film. So many incredible shots.

David Attenborough is some kind of Stan Lee for the Documentary part super heroes! I think he'll ever be remembered as the One who showed us with his incredible talent for narrating each and every episode how unique and fregile our world is. Thanks for all you've done to increase environmental awareness and taking these incredible documentarys with your commentarys to the next level. I'm looking forward to the next four announced shows from BBC earth and of course you narrating them!
