I’m on the fence about the other two times sounding intentional…. I don’t know, maybe you’re right. But it didn’t sound like it at first listen. Just sounded like he didn’t have the lyrics correct. Aaron Lewis of Staind has been known to do this when covering other people’s music because he just doesn’t know the correct lyrics as far as I can tell 😂👍🏼

@@IamRaloPib Yes, we philosopher and Bible scribe types ALWAYS spend our days listening to Nine Inch Nails songs, dontyaknow?! Ever read the lyrics to Wish by NiN? Love it. Philosophically, I would say that Hurt (and other Reznor songs) help me empathize with the true pain of others. Cash's version is so powerful it is hard NOT to feel it. Sevendust (and many other NiN songs) help me to snap back out of that pain-induced emotional coma. For while it may be a nice place to visit, it is most definitely not a nice place to live. Stay too long and you wind up like kurt Cobain or Chester Bennington or countless others. Pain, suffering, and the necessary emergence from that dark place is perhaps the most important thing we humans can learn. Now THAT is some philosophical shit, my friend, and if you cannot understand it then perhaps you need to put Hurt (Cash's version) on repeat until you do....the video version of it. Read the back story of how the video came to be and what it represented to Cash himself. It is far more powerful than anything I have found in the Bible.
