Thank you so much I've been doing it wrong this whole time putting the legs up first and then trying to get the canopy to click in instead of doing the top first and then extending the legs

Thank you for this. I had someone put it up for me then it started to rain wind blowing hard. I needed to take it down. i was alone if it were not for your video, i would not have been able to take it down. Thank You!

This was awesome. Normally I'd have my father to explain this sort of thing, but I've been living and traveling alone so that's no longer an option. I'm extremely confident I'll be able to do this myself on my trip this weekend. Thank you!

Love those thing bc the wind takes them out and I retrieve the fabrics from the corner and use them on the pop out tops to keep sun off them and keep the ac in the camper. I also add a layer to keep dead air space inbetween. The fabrics are perfect size and the reflective fabric is better then oem canvas tops.

I wish I had seen this video before I bought the one I have from a different company. Their instructions had NO written words on it, just hieroglyphics. It showed four simple steps. We worked at it for some time before we gave up for a while to let the rage dissipate. Once we had our composure back, we tried without looking at the nonsense instructions. We made some progress but needed more help so I went online. Unfortunately, none of the videos had the same parts. For instance, we have none of the handy releases. Ours have little round balls that you have to push in which is somewhat painful. So after getting it up, we were going to take it down because I was done using it. Naturally, the thorough (sarcasm) instructions were no help. This is where your video came in. This structure was the closest to what we have. THANKS TO YOU, we were able to take it down before I folded it up and threw in the garbage bin!

I'm glad you like the video but I hope you aren't serious about throwing that away. If you weren't happy with it, I'm sure a local Boy Scout troop or civic organization could have put it to use.

@@simoneskoien980 It's hard not to just consolidate it and put it in the dumpster. I hope you were able to get yours erected. It is nice once it's up but I was too tired after wrestling with it to do what I wanted to accomplish.

Clear as a bell, well spoken, thanks. I'm getting ready to some serious boondocking and I see you are a ham radio authority. As time permits I'll get into the videos. I have a question about ham radio. To what extent, if any, can I use ham radio as an emergency backup? Mostly camping in National Forests throughout the U.S., thank you.
@SevenFortyOne Жыл бұрын
Yes, you can use ham for emergencies. Extent will vary depending on lots of variables.

I have one just like that except the storage bag is different. My storage bag does not have wheels and the opening is not at the top. My bag zipper runs the length of the bag and the carry handles are in the middle. Carry it like a hard guitar case. I think it makes it easier to get the tent in the bag than from the top, like in the video.

Great video. Would have liked to have seen the end result, but otherwise very thorough and easy to follow. Question: how tall is the opening between two post sides given the awning looks like it comes down 6 to 12 inches. Curious if the back of my jeep wrangler could fit underneath?

I can get it stretched out far enough that the upper lock on each leg is just below the locking button - -- but can't lift lock mechanism on the leg high enough to click it in! Just not strong enough? And/or, frame not stretched out far enough??
@SevenFortyOne Жыл бұрын
Hard to say without being there to see what you are dealing with. The legs can be a little tough to extend so you may just need a little extra force
@calfolk73812 жыл бұрын

Looks easy to expand the frame on grass, it's not as easy on concrete or gravel. The frame slides back to center making it hard to put out the frame. I hope someone can do a video for one person set up on gravel or concrete. This video is very helpful otherwise.
