They have been together way before 2015 as well as trainees and even renewed their contract early with all 13 debut members complete which was unprecedented in K-Pop history for a group that big. Brothers for life if they might say, they are a 3rd gen group so i mean they are "old", but people say they never seem to lose their rookie vibes. It would be really great if you could check out the really long 2022 seventeen guide. Its divided into 4 parts but its a great insight towards the members. These dudes are hecking funny as well, they go viral almost every week and even have their own extremely popular variety show "going seventeen". They are honestly one of the best in the industry. Even though their international western presence might not be as big as some groups, these guys sales are only second to bts globally and has crazy by that I mean really crazy popularity in Asia, they have a very very loyal fanbase (rarely see their fans stan another group). Its just somehow 'carats', their fans, are kinda chill and quiet lmao. Seventeen members are crazy tho 💀 + FUCKING AMAZING DANCERS

I agree with you, I'm a kid from Chile, I've known them for a long time but it was only last year that I fully entered the fandom, and yes Seventeen deserve more recognition, but BTS monopolized all the attention, if it weren't for them, Seventeen would have been the kings of the 3rd generation

They may be best known in the industry for their dance skills and synchronised choreographies (as they should be) but their vocals and rap are still _on point,_ and their rap line is especially underrated among kpop industry (in general). I saw a lot of people (kpop fans but not carats) were surprised that their singing and rapping was "actually that good" because a lot of non-fans watched this video only having known them for dance/choreos. So I'm glad their vocals and rap are getting more recognition through this Killing Voice video.
