Severe-Warned Thunderstorm Brings Hail, Gusty Winds & Mammatus Clouds - Mayville, WI - 9/20/22

High-based thunderstorms developed across southern Wisconsin during the early afternoon on September 20th, 2022, bringing with them large hail up to the size of golf balls as well as wind gusts up to 60 mph. The storms also created one of the better mammatus cloud displays I've seen all year. It was a nice and unexpected local chase, as severe weather wasn't anticipated in the area. It wasn't even supposed to rain at all after about 9 in the morning!
