I have had a fish hunter for 21 years and your rig is the best I have ever seen. It s also interesting how the design has changed in little ways over the years. The valves are different, color is different, and my trolling mount is bigger. Great job on the battery platform and mounting system! My concern with having the battery back there is weight once a person is sitting in the boat, so I put the battery container in the middle. But never thought of a way to mount the fishfinder, other than on the trolling motor. Nice job!

Such a nice build, i copied your exact build down to a tee thank you man.. The only minor difference is i made a hard wood floor thats also carpeted, same color as the carpet of your fishfinder and battery box mount you made.

@@perfectsnake6969 how can i show you i made some adjustments and its amazing now. Like if i go fishing it gets so many comments people are amazed by it. As if its a new bass boat or something. If you show me a way i would love to show photos i think you would be shocked. I used a different fishfinder hummingbird dx4 something and built my own tranducer mount. Your idea made me litterally kill it. Thanks again.

Any tips on being able to launch this? I'm interested in getting a motor setup but as of now I have to carry the boat by myself since it's just me and 2 small kids. I can't imagine making a trek back and forth to the campsite multiple times carrying all this stuff each time.

Get yourself a foldable wagon from Academy and a smaller battery, also buy a 30lb thrust motor. I downsized and it’s way lighter.

@@urmystlkal a motor for sure, especially if you go half a mile to a mile out and especially with wind on the lake. A 30lb minn Kota motor is perfect

@@perfectsnake6969 yeah the wind kicked our butts yesterday so it's something I def need to invest in to make it more enjoyable. I was looking at a 55lb motor so I'll drop down for a smaller one and smaller battery like you recommended. It's just something fun for us to putt around in at different camp sites. I appreciate the feedback. I'm trying to find the motor mount for the boat now.

Are you sitting in the bottom or on the wooden board mount in the back by the battery for fishing/trolling motor operation?

Jared Pyatt sorry for the late reply, sitting on the bottom, or on the front. The rear already has enough weight. Any more and the rear end dips if I were to add a second battery

Sometimes it’s the boat and the kits like the trolling motor and mount for the more expensive price. Or it could be the model I know mine is the fish hunter model the pricing in them goes off length/weight/people that it can hold.

Abdul Razak I suppose you could but I would t recommend it. Maybe small bay areas but I don’t think I would take it into the driver ocean.
