I am in love with my Xiao team again thanks to her. Been maining him since 1.3 and never had this much fun playing him. My „Furina“ slot is occupied by Zhongli though, cause I‘ll never seperate him from his son and the team still does more than enough damage anyway, especially since I got lucky with Faruzan cons this banner. Xianyun is such a queen, she knocked it out of the park for me in every possible way.

I've been running Kaveh/XQ/Kaeya/Kazuha shatterbloom as my go to team for a while, and after seeing those Kaveh plunges in the guide I'm thinking of seing how well the team works with Xianyun instead of Kazuha as the swirler/VV shredder +her unique bonuses ofc. Sounds like fun :) Other than that my best built team is a Haitham hyperblom and seeing if she could fit into that team sounds fun as well :D

I was already going for Xianyun since I already have both Shenhe and Ganyu, so it only seems right I get their master/mother. She looks so cool with her dive bombs and having another another Anemo healer is nice. Her being hot is a plus, so I’m definitely trying to get her!…. that is if I can make enough room for the update. I’m constantly having to delete and re-download apps to make space.

She is nowhere as useful as Furina. There is plenty of group healers already. Plunging is clunky gimmick gameplay that ignores innate mechanics of most characters so they start to feel the same which is absolutely stupid decision.

Ah, for the salty one that made fun of min maxing... i'm not going against the abyss and haven't done so since version 1.2 🙄 i'm going against myself and friends' parties, and also making my noelle stay in her strongest in the world spot. there are things you can do in a game that aren't explicitly built-in, you know.

I love his design but basically rarely play him as his kit feels clunky to me, especially in overworld. It's been 3 years since we've been stuck with AC6 Bennett if you were stuck with him and now he has a purpose and it's been 3 years since the only wind healer we had that's a 5 star was Jean and now we have a new one. I will admit I was pretty skeptical about drawing for her particularly because there were some controversy surrounding her at that point and most people were saying that she's only gonna be usable for one character and 1 character only but thankfully, Wind hot auntie here is flexable enough to work with nearly every character and combined with her being a soild healer like Jean, this means that Furina's Skill is no longer a problem and Cloud Retainer works incredibly well with her too. Needless to say I am very much impressed with what I have seen and I can't wait to draw for her though I have to wait until the download is done on my end. Another fantastic and great guide Sevy and Now that I know that cloud retainer has the same English voice as Claire Redfield from Resident Evil 2 remake I leave with this: Now we can finally continue the Redfield blood line and for Cloud Retainer, people may call her a mommy, but I will be different and call her a hot auntie who can build model kits and chill with you lol. Anyway awesome job!

I know this is old news but Raiden burst isn't considered plunge so she won't get the plunge buff, that said her plunge is still pretty powerful since you can use TTDS+VV on Xianyun. At C2+Furina+Xianyun C0+Bennett I can plunge for 100k+ without reaction and plunge buff which is really cool since the buff only work on single target, this means you deal 100k+ on AOE

I mean i think any secondary artifact set that provides a 2p attack% bonus can be resin efficient since those can always be good for dps and attack scaling supports. It's the entire reason shimenawa/emblem domain is considered resin efficient, even if shimenawa isnt like, the bis for a ton of dps characters, the 2p set bonus makes it efficient anyway.

She is good she is a battery for herself and healer of herself. I use her with the help of few genshin Character. I defeated some minor bosses like The puppet Maguu Kenki, Oceanid and Cryo Regisvine. Still testing her for others minor bosses. She may work with the Hound only to be accompanied by a geo character if not she dies due to blood loss effect. By the way she is C6 R2.

I managed to get Xianyun, Nahida, Tighnari, C2 Gaming and C6 Faruzan (from C1) all in 90 pulls. I also don't have Jean so I am definitely stocked to build her and try her out in all the difference teams she has available! She sounds she will become a new overworld mainstay for me, kinda like Yelan, and not only because her skill has mobility, but because she can proc VV with swirls and heal the entire team all the time. She may not be super strong dmg wise, but she's like a 9/10 support (lacks grouping) with 10/10 convinience!

I've been seeing a lot of reality checks on this banner... After pulling for her and playing her for a few days, I think she doesn't fall under the "must have" category. BUT like Sevy says, "fuck around and find out" - she is a SUPER FUN character to have and brings a new mechanic to the game that sort of refreshes the vibes. But again, not worth spending for her if you're a low spender or F2P unless you actually like her as a character because she is a mommy. (I am part of that group)

Also Diluc numbers with her and Furina are really good now, probably (I will have to double check) better than Keqing and Tighnari aggravate making him the best standard dps, if you have the combo. Aside from Furina and Neuvillette, no one in Fontaine was that much determining on meta to be fair.

Tough decision. I'd say pull for Xianyun now cause you might also get Faruzan constellations and you can get xiao next time he reruns. Or you can try to pull for both of them. We've got a new area so lots of primos will be coming and who knows maybe you'll get lucky.

I say, it depends on ur pity n amount of wishes u have. try pull for Xiao first if ur wishes r limited, as hes cool, fun n simple dps, ez to make him stronk. N if u dont have a main dps yet. Also, if u really want Xiao. Pull for Xianyun if u want mommy n plunge spam support. She heals too, n can be a support n dps depending how u build her. Also if u really want her. Both is good tho, not Extremely meta or anything. But fun n stronk.

I'd go for Xiao first, since Xianyun will rerun again soon enough. But put a few early pity rolls into Xianyun so you can get a Faruzan or two. So only up to 40ish pity.

Thank yall for replying. I forgot to mention my pity is low too considering I just got Yoimiya. I wasn't really intending to get her either, I was just wishing for fun. I haven't decided yet, but I've been gathering ascension and talent materials for him, so if I decide to get him I'll have everything for him. Either way if I don't get him I'll definitely be ready for his next rerun.

I gave her skyward atlas and some glad + shime artifact and she does 20k elemental skill dmg at lvl 40, with only yelan's support

I was considering her weapon since thousand dreams is perfect for Sucrose or DPS Koko but decided that my lack of emo boy, dark knight or hoe tao encourages me to main her so I’m going for C2 instead and i believe BP jade catalyst is great for her.

I might pull for Xianyun once I get my guaranteed Nahida if there’s still time during phase 1 of the update, I’m not overly hopeful for vast success with her outside of pairing her with Gaming but if she lets me facilitate Hydro Infused Plunge DPS Yun Jin who am I to ignore the meme build potential ;D
