On release of the game almost everyone thought that the “right way” to play the game was just upgrade a Main DPs like Diluc, Klee or Xiao and win the game. Couldn’t be more wrong, a lot of people still build only a main DPs and have no subdps or supports fully build. Its kind a sad sometimes because a huge part of the community still have the same wrong idea for the first patch and this misunderstanding stick hard on their minds even if they hear 100x times lmao 😂

Sure, it’s not the best, but I have found that my full Elemental mastery Build with Xiangling works really well with Raiden and Jean. Raiden is there to add electro with her skill no matter who Guoba hits and Jean is there to use her hold skill to keep enemies from flying away from the overloaded reaction. So it goes, raiden skill, drop guoba, suck up guoba and enemies together, hold them until guoba runs out, then shoot them into the sky for that anemo skill damage and fall damage afterwards. That’s usually enough to take care of a lot of enemies. The only difference with pyronado and guoba comes with the fact that pyronado works best with raidens burst afterward. They deal about the same damage, but the burst comba does it more often because Raidens burst is constantly applying electro. With this, I do a consistent 11k every guoba attack in pyro damage alone. Combined with raidens electro damage from her skill, I do about 14k every guoba attack. That enough for me

Well artifact stats matter way more than set bonuses late game so it makes sense

@@bletwort2920 Early to mid game you it isn't worth the resin to farm artifacts so you mostly work with what you have. Just leveling a three star feather to 12 will pretty much double the attack on an AR20 character. In those cases the set bonus can be worth prioritizing. Weapon level and talents are the priority till AR45. Ideally you will have a stock pile of talent books, mora and exp books ready by AR45 so you can then switch the focus to artifacts. Yes stats still matter early to mid game but most of your scaling at that point is coming from your weapon and talents.

@@bletwort2920 I'm not saying throw a def sands on your Hu Tao or something. You get more than enough artifacts from bosses and chests to carry you through to AR45. The only set you could make an arguement for farming early is a 4* set of VV for an anemo character. I don't think you understand how fast it is to get to AR45. It isn't like the launch of the game. There are so many more quests, chests, and way to get AR exp now that you can speedrun it in less than a week and casually reach it in under a month. You also aren't going to need artifacts for 2 full teams till then anyway. Just a decent set for your dps, half decent for sub-dps. A lot of characters can get by just fine with minimal artifacts till then. Also it needs to be said that outside of abyss this is a very easy game designed for a casual mobile audience.

@@bletwort2920 If you really want to speedrun it, with the interactive map you can hit AR35 in about 20-25 hours of gameplay. AR45 is going to take longer but a month isn't that long. Things aren't like they were at launch where you had to rely on dailies and resin to grind up early game AR. There are close to twice the non-timegated ways to get AR exp. Regardless. You don't need artifact sets from domains before you are able to grind 5*s. You can get Berserkers, Exile and Instructors from every boss in the game, chests, and rarely from elite overworld enemies. 2pc Berserkers/ 2pc either of the other two works well enough for dps and subdps characters. 2pc Exile/ 2pc Instructors or 4pc of either is fine for supports. ER is more of a concern than crit early game since hitting a reasonable crit ratio is very hard with 4* artifacts. At least for any burst dependent character (which is more than half the roster). If you really want to farm artifacts early. The earliest that makes any sense is AR40 since you at least have a chance at 5*s then. Even at AR40 though it is kind of a waste of resin. Even at AR45 you should probably live in the emblem/shiminawa domain for a month or two as it is by far the most resin efficient domain (both sets are good if not BiS for most of the roster).

Watching this now a year later, I don't think 150-180% will be enough ER for her. My XL us at 220% ER on a mono Pyro lyney team comprised of her, lyney, benett, and layla. To be able to burst comfortably, I need abyss buff that pushes me to 240%+ so without it, that's the baseline I'd need to happily burst every rotation.

I have her triple crowned... Cuz I love her. She was literally very first pull and I LOVE spears so it made me very happy. She's also so happy, bubbly and all around cute... With a spear 🥰 Then it turned out that she dealt 3 times more damage alone than all my other characters combined. When I realized Xiangling and Kaeyas ults combined turned into a friggin guillotine whirlwind that annihilated anything it came into contact with, I didn't change my lineup for about 30 Adventure ranks. Bennett, Xiangling, Kaeya and Childe. It's not quite the case anymore but she still deals at least as much damage as any other sub dps I have, often more. Also, Guoba is amazing, I don't think you're giving him enough credit. Especially early game, he's the world's best shield breaker. But plopp him on the ground and walk away 🤣 he will get the job done. Xiangling is amazing ❤️

Bennett is better off with weapons like rancour or Blackcliff or Alley Flash, with 5 stars other than Jade Cutter being his BiS. His attack buff is way more important, since you can build ER off of sands and substats along with his C2 and ascension stat, but there is no way to increase base Atk.

Okay, between the Lantern Rite, the standard banner, and the Character Banner, I just managed to get C4 Xiangling, C6 Ningguang, and C2 Yanfei. The only issue is that I only really use Yanfei in my regular team, though due to a combination of good artifact luck for Ningguang and bad Artifact luck for Noelle, Ningguang's normal Stevie were doing almost as much damage as Noelle's Burst slashes when I tried her out yesterday, though Noelle was still benefiting a lot from Ningguang's Jade Screen and Geo Particle generation, so her Burst was getting a lot of uptime. Maybe I'll give Ningguang my R4 Prototype Amber and put Xiangling into that party with my C5 Bennett.

There is one thing about building her that I saw on the KeqingMains guide, but nowhere else, so I wonder if it's true. The Kitain Cross Spear reduces her ER requirement and at R5 it reduces it so much you don't need it anymore. Then you can just focus on farming Crimson Witch and getting crit sub-stats.

I just notice that by the end of video the teamcomp xiangling ganyu kaeya rosaria is really bad and has litter synergy with each other because xiangling has no pyro battery like bennett, plus ganyu,kaeyga,rosaria will take away each other melt reaction. I get ur idea that xiangling can be an enabler for cryo characters like ganyu and rosaria but for Kaeyga this has bad synergy. He is meant to play in a frozen comp only as his elemental Burst is limited by ICD (cannot melt all of his Burst damage) and also he will not benefit from is A4 talent (extra elemental paricle when use Elemental skills on frozen enemy). So if u're going to use xiangling as melt enabler for ur cryo dps really recommend to pair your cryo with xiangling and both bennett to both battery and snapshot xiangling's damage (strongly recommend xiangling 220% ER+ and bennett 200% ER minium in Ganyu teamcomp, also dont pair cryo Ayaka with melt because her Burst is easy to miss if not frozen) but still beside being melt enabler for ganyu other xiangling reverse melt comp is used only when your Xingqiu is needed in another teamcomps by the fact that non-Ganyu reverse melt comp are not considered top meta. P/s: dont throw away ur 4 stars instructor artifacts they are god :D

before, my main is razor and i have this barbara, xiangling, xinqui, razor lineup. i was ar40ish when I got her good artifacts which up till now is what i used on her. Stats is 1800att, 50 crit, 170 crit dmg, 210er, and 280ish em. I got skyward spine when I was ar35-40 and thats when I leveled her up. She is also c6. my artifacts on her is 1 offset pyro dmg bonus, 2 pcs crimson which and 2pc wanderers troupe. I plan to change wanderer but since its those artifact with very good stat and substat, its hard to look for one that is way better than wanderer lmao

She was one of the characters that carried me when I was still in low AR. I used to pair her with Lisa, Kaeya, Xingqiu and even with Dendro Traveler (for burning or burgeon reaction, of course trying to stack a lot of EM on her lol). Back then I didn't have good artifacts to sustain her ER so I used Gouba regularly, and contradict to how many players complain, Gouba was not that bad. Even at high AR now I still have a habit of dropping Gouba first before using her Burst XD

I crowned her Q. And with 200 ER and EOS set she is super effective. My ratio is decent at 50:150 and i use catch which is brilliant. Her numbers are not super high but they are consistent.

At 6:25 mark didn’t you show the Pyro damage was 61% after using the burst? Which means you get the 15% C6 stat buff? Or am I crazy

After farming for at least a month in the Emblem set domain , my 4 pc set is still on 52CR : 97 CD, 194 ER with The catch. Still farming that domain (probably 2 months total now) but no good in rng. Xiangling is good but goddamn my luck on her bis artifacts sucks ass.
