Hi! The fabrics themselves are so beautiful, with bigger and bigger motifs of all kinds it is a great way of showing them off. I finally found a reason to cut them up! Thanks, I am a colorful quilter & love your patterns as well!

Could you share a more complete set of instructions for how to modify the Color Girl ruler? I’m a little confused about where to position each piece of tape. Thanks.

Hi, Pam, thanks for your request, I have posted on my blog close up pictures and a little more explanation of the tape placement here: colorgirlquilts.com/2019/09/full-circle-hack-a-closer-look.html

I found that I can cut on the original lines for concave and convex, and the circle, and the frame fit together perfectly, it’s just not the size you expected. It’s a little bigger.

Hi, Patricia! I apologize, I'm not sure what you mean by runner. Do you mean Ruler (autocorrect error?) ? It is the Classic Curves Ruler, and you can order one and get patterns on my website, colorgirlquilts.com Thank you!!

Also I am not quite sure if the circle are a 1’ or 1/2 difference in radius?
@ColorGirlQuilts5 жыл бұрын
it is a 1" difference to account for seam allowance on a full circle.
@ColorGirlQuilts5 жыл бұрын
There will be a 1" difference in the total diameter between the circle insert and the background "hole" fabric. This accounts for a 1/4" seam allowance all the way around. You won't need to do any figuring, though, as long as you cut with the same groove (eg. 6") and line your fabric up with the convex lines on the ruler for the circle fabric and the convex lines for the background hole.
