I love sew alongs. I hope you do this often. I'm not crazy about using that many different fabrics, but it is cute on you

Thanks for sharing, bravo!! ❤ Can i make trousers in cotton lawn? Dont see this done but wonder if i could for a coord set. I would like a video explaining differences between cotton lawn, cotton poplin, broadcloth, quilting cotton, etc. So many types of cotton...

Hiya, I think it would be possible depending on the pattern - it might be more suitable for a wide leg/elasticated waist trouser or a culottes. Thanks for the video idea, I am sure we can do that for you. In the meantime Harriet has written a blog post that you might find helpful. Hi Lisa, how do you decide on which fabrics to match. Love the pattern ❤

Hi Anne, thanks for watching! It look me ages to decide, I started by looking at the colours I wanted to combine and then played about with the different prints just by moving the rolls about and seeing what they looked like together. Lots of walking away, having a look from a distance and then changing my mind again. Got there in the end though! Lisa :)
