This was a great sew along Sally. I think that it does not matter about perfect matching of fabric as I think that nothing is naturally perfect in life. The shacket is beautiful.

Yes that's absolutely true, I used to beat myself so much about things like that not being perfect but now I'm much more relaxed and think life's too short haha. Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it xx

I really loved your sew along - definitely a good balance between chat, sewing and the key bits of information that you need for the project. It looks really great too. I've been a bit anxious about trying a Style Arc pattern but I might have a go now.....

I really enjoyed the sew along. The shacket looks really nice, especially the fabric. As a beginner, the amount sewing/pinning was about right, although more is always good. I have been a bit nervous about using StyleArc due to their reputation and I’m glad you found the instructions sufficient. Maybe I’ll give it a go some day.

Good video I’m with you on the sewing machine I dropped mine as well so now I’ve made a cover for it so I leave it out all the time Just a slip over cover I did some appliqué flowers on the front in natural colours works well with ties at the sidesxx🧵💙🧵💙

Hi Sally, I believe it is pronounced: "arm sigh". Goodness knows where that word comes from... 🤔 The plaid on the fabric is really attractive, I can understand why you chose it. I was horrified to hear that you dropped your sewing machine - thankfully it didn't injure you! 😱 You definitely need to figure out a way of not having to put it away every time. Anyway, the shacket has turned out lovely, well done.

It’s such a funny word isn’t it I think I’ll stick to arm hole 😂 Dropping my sewing machine was a little scary I wasn’t injured thank you but I was so worried it was broken and beyond repair. Thankfully it was stronger than I thought it was x

Please, how exactly do you cut out the plaid yoke on the bias? Thank you.

Fold the fabric on the bias (at a 45 degree angle to the selvage of the fabric and place the pattern piece on that fold. I hope that helps 😊 x
