Watching different videos on this for tips. This video is best so far. Made a couple on scratch fabric before looking for tips - turned out well, but the extra pinning will help. Missouri Star's video on Apple Core cuts with rotary blade, but prefers to hand cut with scissors - she also machine sews, but notes this (when using smaller templates) is also a good block for hand stitching. I have a 7" template - need to find a mini template as I think they would be adorable life-sized.

LOVE YOUR DEMO! EASY TO SEE PARTS OF ASSEMBLY. EXCELLENT PHOTOGRAPHY! Great explanations. This larger apple core makes it easy to see how cures fit. THKS!

Love the quilts in the background. What are their names and is there a tutorial on them?

+Maureen King I realize that you asked for this months ago - I currently make the Sew Easy videos and try to keep up with the questions - I'm venturing back into older videos and found your requests - the pattern for the quilt in the background is called "3 Squared". The pattern is available in hard copy, an e-download or video here www.shopfonsandporter.com/product/3-squared-print-pattern/patterns

This looks like the template I bought from Missouri Star intended to use with pre-cut 10 inch blocks

This is good, but I've seen online tutorials on how to do apple cores with Sewline glue pens.
