I think I would be tempted to use the template to make orange peels to finish the outside edge of the quilt. That way, the quilt would have a scalloped edge. I wonder if that would work. Thank you, Colleen.

I saw another video where they put bias binding around the quilt. The scalloped edge looked great!

My template doesn't have the marked line for the fill ins, but it looks like I would just move my template up 1/4" from the edge to cut those pieces - correct?
