I love Hayley’s shacket in that fabric. I think I’m going to do one too. I think I’ll need good instructions though so maybe will look for a more detailed pattern. Some great ideas here.

😂 I know what you mean, we sew for our figures and I have since my hysterectomy filled out on my waist, so really think about what suits and what doesn’t. I follow a few people that have similar shapes to get ideas, just glad I could help x

Haha, I have a chest in my bedroom, a kallax unit downstairs and plastic storage boxes in my shed 😂 Thank you. I have just printed them off so planning on trying the ruffle neck top over the weekend (despite the snow) to see how the patterns are to work with 😊 xx

Greeting from California U.S. Lovely list. You have done a great job explaining the importance of matching the fabric with the style. I am not especially fond of pink, but that pink with white flowers is just beautiful and would look great with the solid. Since orange is not your color couldn't you keep it away from your face by using the solid for the Elouise skirt and pair it with the deep-cuffed blouse in the boat print? That would be a create a powerful combination of color with style. A real "you-go-girl" look. Thanks for your truly inspirational post.

The Stitch Sisters are taking some time off to focus on teaching classes, I think. I also think their social media got hacked or they were locked out for a very long time or something similar. They're still doing their newsletter, but I miss their videos so much!
