I think that fabric really suits you. I suggest the Ravello dress by soi. It’s in their summer dreaming book. I haven’t made it yet but it’s perfect for a cruise. I’m going on one in May. We love cruises as they cater so well for my gluten free diet( coeliac) amongst other things of course. I subscribed to the classic box for 6 months a long while ago but there was too much fabric I wasn’t keen on and it’s still in my stash. I cancelled mainly for that reason. Recently I received a one off box for Xmas from my son from btpd. I absolutely love receiving them but feel a bit pressurized to make things I haven’t necessarily planned for. I know that’s the point in a way! Recently I’ve made a Cowl neck dress by soi for a party on Saturday. Happy sewing ! neck dress from soi in teal stretch velvet for a party on Saturday. I

Hello Angela. The fabric is just beautiful, and if you are wanting a suggestion to make may I recommend the 'Autumn In New York' dress by 'Seasons of East' patterns? I don't subscribe to the SHJ box as I live in Australia and the postage is so expensive, but if I was to subscribe I would get the 'luxury' box. In Australia I order every month the bespoke box from The Dahlia Sewciety, I am expecting February box to come this week. Great news regarding your cruise. I am currently making the 'Be Mine' balloon sleeve blouse by Pattern Emporium a garment that I think you will really like. Happy sewing xxx

Angela, I was hoping you would tell me what fabulous summer dress to make with this delicious fabric! I think I might make an Ogden cami with the chiffon, it shouldn’t be see through with the lining. I think you can get one out of a metre of fabric!

Beautiful fabric! What cruise line are you going on? Larry and I are doing two back to back cruises in the Mediterranean in June.
