For the jersey yoga style pants, take a look at the Resolution bottoms from Love Notions. I’ve made several pairs and they’re lovely. The most recent pair is a stretch woven and I sort of smoothed the line from the hip to the hem. It’s a great pattern, easy to modify, and includes a bunch of different styles.

Angela, I always love hearing your thoughts about your makes because it prompts me to think more about mine and how they make me feel, how they fit together in my wardrobe, etc. Looking forward to part 2! Also, you are the ONLY person that I've heard so far who has pronounced "saguaro" correctly 😂 as someone who lives in the Sonoran desert surrounded by hundreds of saguaros, it's been rough hearing everyone's interpretation of this tricky word, but you nailed it and I had to actually rewind just to make sure I hadn't misheard! 😂❤️

Oh that has made me giggle!! I think that was more by good luck than good judgement - but I’m going to make sure I pronounce it like that from now on - lol! Aahh thank you - yes I’ve been really enjoying the process so far - it’s definitely making me think about my wardrobe 😁 Thank you 🥰

When I do the dishes, I put elastic bands round my wider cuffs, particularly on jumpers, and pull them up as you showed - and they don't fall down. So invest in a few decent elastic bands, for a few pence, and you've solved the problem!

Re yoga style pants, I think 5 out of 4 patterns have Zen pants I personally love Feel pretty pants by Ellie and Mac they are wide leg, elasticated pants. I hacked them and added pockets. Re toile of trousers I usually do basically shorts version - just to make sure they will accommodate my tummy (Joyce of chronic IBS - room in bottom part of wardrobe is mandatory 😊) Love your outfits BTW, have you thought of just changing the neckline in your white t-shirt? It will take a maximum of 10 min to do it. Re jackets - Winter Wear Design has fantastic denim jacket pattern Thank you for sharing your week with us

I had a similar long sleeve situation. I rotary cut my cuffs off folded a 2cm seam and did a decorative stretch stitch to hold it in place. Sleeves are bracelet length now and so much easier to wear. It’s a lovely sweater you have there. 🌺

I love the fabric in your fleecy jumper and yes Ilike the extra fabric detail of your t shirt showing at the bottom too! Why don't you put some elastic through the hem of the sleeves and see if you like them better as it's such a shame that you don't like this lovely sweatshirt/ jumper. I'd suggest adding some ribbing to the sleeves instead, but it'd probably be a bit hard to match that green. Happy sewing.....i loved seeing all your other outfits! ❤

Yesterday I just finished my Itch 2 Stitch Atenas Denim Jacket and it is in WHITE denim and I love it. I also made the Seamwork Denim Jacket (Audrey) a few years ago and that one is in WHITE as well. I have found them to be absolutely fantastic and I reach for them more than my blue denim. I made a second one because, like you, my first one is a bit too snug.
@DevonThreadTales6 ай бұрын
I love the idea of a white one - what a fabulous idea. I have the Audrey pattern - is it a nice one? Thank you 🥰

@@DevonThreadTales They are very, very similar. I really struggled with the I2S one for some reason. It was with the pockets. I messed them up because apparently, I didn't follow the directions right. Cut out a second front for the one side - and messed that one up TOO. Wth? Anyway, 3rd times a charm. I made notes on my instructions so if I make it again, I should be ok... The Seamwork was my first one and went together beautifully. No issues at all.

Hi Angela, I like the way you're doing 'MeMadeMay' and enjoy listening to your thoughts about your wardrobe. I've just made some casual trousers out of a ponte roma with a striped trim down the outside leg. The pattern I used was the Mowgli by I Am patterns. You can have a tapered leg or a wider leg and there are options for pockets, cuffs etc. so it's quite a versatile pattern. Not sure if it's suitable for woven fabrics though. Looking forward to your next vlog xx

A simple fix for your jumper sleeves might be to just narrow them a little. I've done that to a top of mine and it made a world of difference. It was a 2 minute fix. I didn't even take the hem down. I love the fabric you've made it in so worth a save.

Love your vlog. Your Nora top looks like it has separate cuffs and are a bit long, I would take the cuffs off and take some off the length and put them back on. If they are just turned up sleeves unpick and turn up a bit more, to shorten. You might prefer that. You could always take them in a bit so they are not so baggy. Adjusting your 'me mades' is annoying but I have lost over 2 stone since January so I am taking in most of my clothes at the moment, and not necessarily enjoying the experience but needs must. Lok forward to your next vlog

I really enjoy your analysis of all your outfits and why they do or don’t work for you. And I agree about cuffs on jumpers (though my husband does the dishes - I do the cooking and they dangle in everything 😂). Regarding yoga type trousers, have a look at the swim style Karla lounge pants. I’m now on my third pair and I love them! I’ve done a review video if you want a quick nosy at how they look 😊

The jumper is beautiful, it really is, but as you say, the sleeves are not quite right. Maybe a little shorter, just a little, and narrower. Or, given that the white Tshirt showing at the bottom looks really good......cut the sleeve length to between your elbow and wrist and if you wore a long sleeved Tshirt it would show from the new sleeve length to your wrist to match the bottom!!
