You are ethereal! And you are definitely spreading joy into the world! I love Mabel’s ears when she walks, my cattle dog mix, Lucy, does something similar when she walks where both ears kind of go back but then one bounces more while the other one is up a bit and listening to the world around her. So cute. Thank you for taking the time to make the vlog!

Dear Jooles, I’m just seeing this in the wee hours on the 4th of July here in the US. On a Monday, the 1st , late, our beloved Matriarch of the family, my SIL, passed away. In such moments, one feels as if they exist in two different worlds....if that makes any sense. Gratitude for her life and love, sorrow in her passing. It takes a lot of mental and emotional fortitude to see to the details and plans that must follow. I came on YT to find a place to get lost, to breathe, to smile, to refresh my heart & soul ahead of the services at weeks end. Here you were. I had no idea you were doing July vlogs, what a delightful surprise. You are a gorgeous creative loving heart and always bring a smile. I agree, Gayna, Racheal, Sherrie & Allie when they’ve done they’re monthly vlogs have been lovely. Finding and seeing as you said some of the common threads, the things that bring us joy, snippets of life that bind us together. It’s all so lovely. (While of course realizing they too have tough days, moments not seen, just as we all do). Your wish to sew seeds of love & kindness did just that....reaching a small hamlet in NY. It is now 414am - a smile on my face and in my heart. I’ve no doubt I am not the only one who feels the same. Your wish granted! Your hope realized and I’ve no doubt will continue to be so. I am breathing, feeling the exhaustion, tension melt away in all the best ways. I must get back to Racheal and Gaynas last vlogs, their last day in June. It’ll be good for the soul. Add to the smiles, uplift and ground my spirit....all of which I am most grateful for - even more so at this particular chapter & moment in my/our life. Your garden! Oh my, the roses all those roses! If only YT had smell-o-vision....how lovely that would be! I wish you gentle rest, loads of reasons to smile, to breathe and may you feel the gratitude, kindness & love you’ve gifted to us, surround you in return. Gentle pats, wishes for gorgeous walks and treats for booboo 🐾 (I used to call our Maxi “booboo” as well. What an absolute dear she was (and is still in my heart of hearts) There’s nothing quite like a loving sweet shadow such as that is there? ♥️🐾 I too must get back to my water drinking too! I have a infused jug much like yours. Must pull it out and get to it! Cucumber and mint sounds refreshing...must give that a try. I’ve never combined them before...usually one or the other or fruit infusions. 💕🦋🌸

Just seeing you and Mabel brings me a feeling of joy. Your voice is so relaxing and gives me a feeling of calm. On the topic of depression, I too have found myself clinching my teeth during the day and I don't know why. I also know I do it in my sleep and have had to use a mouth guard. Strange, but I think it's my way of dealing with stress.

Greetings from Australia! I like to make 'fruity water' for the hot days - in the morning I fill a jug with loads of sliced orange and lemon (you can add lime if that's your thing), and then fill to the top with ice cubes - no water. No need to put it in the fridge, just leave it out in the kitchen and top up with ice cubes during the day - very refreshing.

My question is about the Smitten quilt and I was wondering if you would talk to us about that, how you choose the colours, how you cut out the shapes and so on. I've had that pattern for too long and I'd love to be inspired to get going on it! Thank you Jooles for such a generous gift to us, Teresa xx

Hi Jooles, I’m very new to your podcasts but I’m really enjoying them, I just wanted to let you know to look into a product called cerezen for your grinding at night, as a dental nurse I am very familiar with night time grinding it is very common, cerezen is a small hollow tube which is custom made to fit your ear canal just like an ear plug but you have impressions taken so it exactly fits you ears, they are hollow so it doesn’t block sound, if you stick your finger in your ear and clench your jaw you will notice your ear canal tighten, these tubes in your ears somehow magically stop you from grinding at night, I don’t have one but I have heard that they are very good, it might be worth looking into or ask your dentist about, hope this helps xx

Hello from a very cold winters day in Melbourne Australia. This is my first time watching your vlog and am really enjoying it. I felt I had to comment in regards to your beautiful dog and the grapes. I don't know if you realize that grapes can be life threatening to some dogs by causing kidney failure. Some dogs are able to eat them without it being a problem, but other dogs can go into immediate kidney failure after just one grape or sultana etc. Nobody has yet worked out why it only affects some dogs but to be on the safe side please don't allow your dogs to eat any form of fresh or dried grapes. With my kindest regards, Lyndal

Re Jaw clenching - my son clenches so badly at night his jaw clicks constantly in the day. He had no success with a mouth guard but the dentist suggested special earplugs, custom made to fit, not cheap, but they have worked. As long as he remembers to stick them in every night.

Author Louise Hay writes about our ailments as symptoms of internal dialogue. I like to think that when my jaw is tense (and it is right now), it’s because I need to say something. That something could be anger, frustration, or unhappiness at my actions or lack of actions. But can also be with someone else. I find when I get reflective, I can usually figure it out. I also often find that what I want to say to myself just makes me angry. I’m such an awful listener! 😳🙈😊. And the things I want to say to others include too much foul language to share with them. 🤬🤬😔. So really, I’m no help🙄🤪 but I took up a lot of space in your comments and strangely my jaw is less tense. 🗣🗣😘.

When I get really hot I rub ice cubes all over me, even stuck a couple in my bra😂🤣 just to cool off. I love sunshine but not humid heat, I just drip and am very uncomfortable. Worst comes to worse I take a bath in lightly warm water and read a book. I’m happy you’re making July videos, I found you on Vlogmas and missed you and a few others similar to yours come January. Blather on, it’s lovely to see what you’re up to. My job for tonight is to make strawberry jam because the local berries are ripe. My kids love to get their Mum jam in their stockings at Christmas. Tomorrow I’m going to pick loads of tiny wild ones all over our yard and make them into jam. 🍓🍓🍓🍓
