Yes I agree…thank you for the step by step video for beginners. Sometimes a beginners pattern is not as easy as it may seem. The sleeve and or collar may pucker. Here comes Mr ripper…..😢 So thank you😊

what a beautiful dress and thanks for taking it slow. I have learned a lot. Question about your hand basting after you do that where are you sewing the permitted stitches are they right on top of the basting stitch or very close to them? Thanks gain. And I am looking forward to more sew-along

Thank you! When I hand baste I try to baste within the seam allowance. So if the seam allowance is 5/8” I may baste at 1/2” just to hold the fabric in place until I can permanently stitch. If I end up stitching over my basting it’s so loose that I can still easily remove the basting. This is also why I use a different color thread.
