Great technique, I love it! Hand sewing can be so relaxing, especially for finishing steps like this where you're on the home stretch and you might start to get nervous that your sewing machine is gonna eat your project and make you start over. I think a tip video for how to find matching thread could be useful. Like people usually try to hold up the spool of thread next to the piece of fabric, but it's usually much more accurate to unspool a few feet of thread and let it pool on the fabric loose to get a better idea. I think it can also be useful to err on the side of a slightly darker colour if you're stuck between 2 or 3 colours that all don't quite exactly match, since dark stitches showing up here and there won't catch the eye quite as much as light stitches.

I like to go back into the fold one more time after my knot and then pull,snip and smooth fabric so the end is under the fold.
