Quilt labels

When I started quilting, I never used labels. But now I'm a reformed labeler, and I always use them. And I'm like you - I don't like big labels - I just make a small one and usually put the name of the quilt, my name, and the year.

Would you suggest sewing the edges down if that type of label was to be used for a high-use, high wash utility quilt! Thinking of the quilts that I make for the grands. Thanks! Love your videos!

I use this type of label, and I always sew the edges down, just to be safe.

I would if it was going to be used a lot and washed a lot. This one won’t be.

Change the print size percentage perhaps, give it a try on ordinary paper first?

I just looked. I set it for sept 1st. I am out of town and had a bunch to video but didn’t want to send them all out at once and everyone get tired of me so I scheduled some. 😂
