It's funny to think of the enemies as a total of two or three individuals repeatedly emerging from and retreating back into the water.

So many possibilities, for example like after X trunks, spawn a boss chunk, the boss chunk sets the chunk holder x movement to 0, I really liked your approach to side scrollers

When i get at least 20% of your artist skill I'll probably be able t make games like Thomas Brush 😅. But honestly I'm always impressed by your work, its not AAA quality but it always looks good. Keep it up 👍.

This is just a single gameplay segment that looks like to be dragging forever. It looks *boring*

Yeah unfortunately I have to agree. Looked boring and not all that great. Pixel art was kind of nice, but to me character's arm looked weird

Fortunately it wouldn't be too hard of a fix, after the first few enemies to introduce the player to the mechanics just start making things a bit more hectic and hard to deal with

Just take some inspiration from Contra and the likes and add some platforms and obstacles the player can jump on for some variation instead of a linear conveyor belt type of gameplay loop
