Trash bags have insecticide on the plastic. That's why we don't get maggots in them like happened years ago. I would advise making an apron out of a cheap plastic tablecloth or shower curtain instead.

Did you feel any pains after sewing? Like being electrocuted? I can't use water (shower) before and after sewing. I just waited for 5 to 8 hours before taking shower.

It's important to take breaks & vary motions. I've worked in a factory for decades, my hands are in good shape because we rotate through positions every 2 hours. It would be healthier NOT to do all the cutting at once or all the sewing & tugging at once. Learning some hand stretches would be a good idea as well. Avoid carpel tunnel syndrome or tendonitis.
