Oh, nice to see a Patina blouse made in fun silk! And either pink would be a great skirt. I love the idea of the layered collar & cuffs for a little extra sparkle. Those sequined swatches lovely, but i think better suited for a slim jacket/topper or a closer fitting top without collar or cuffs!

Oh thank you! I agree with you about the sequin swatches. As much as I like them I don't think they were quite right for this project.

You really have perfected the Patina blouse. It looks lovely and the pink wool skirt will compliment it perfectly! Can’t wait to see what dress you make for the dinner event. I’m sure it will be stunning 🤩 In my attempt to reduce ‘orphans’ I end up purchasing more fabric today, but got side tracked and end up with even more orphans! 😂🤣 Think I need blinkers!

Hi Jane - There are still a couple of tweeks needed on my patina pattern but overall, I think it's a pretty good fit.

You go girl! Embrace your pink! That blouse is lovely. Speaking of the peach and sequined fabric you bought, I can see it styled with dark tuxedo pants with a sequined side stripe. I'm waiting on pins and needles until you post the finished outfit.

Carol, the Patina Blouse came out so nice. It looks great on you. Great fit around to shoulders. I can't wait to see the pink one. I keep saying that I'm going to buy the pattern but when I look at the price I back away... maybe your makes will convince me to move on it. Suzanne

Hi Suzanne. I hope you had a nice holiday season! I always try to rationalize the price of patterns by making every view and in different fabrics. I've already made a couple of short sleeve patinas - one is cotton lawn and the other in linen (I love the linen version and wear it all the time in summer). Now I'm make a couple of long sleeved blouses so it makes me feel like I've gotten my moneys worth! Thanks for the compliments on my blouse! I appreciate it!

Lovely Patina blouse!! I also love your Studio Tunic. I've just cut one out and hope that I have cut the right size as I haven't made any Sew Liberated patterns before although I do have the Hinterland Dress pattern. I am trying to make only what I will wear a lot.
