Seamstress Samantha's sew and sleepwear. It was nice to see you wearing your crocheted gloves and using your Singer sewing machine. I feel comfort with such normality. It felt a little surreal when I viewed you sitting on your bed in your nightware talking about your visit from a debt collector. I love your 'pillow talk' Samantha! Your video brought a respectful smile to my face. You are lovely and entertaining.

Thank you very much Ian! I love all the familiar things too (no surprise there). The Singer sewing machine was my mother’s and she sewed all my dresses as well as all the curtains in the house on it. I took it for its first ever service recently. It’s a member of the family. The debt collector. Yes, myself and my first rabbit once had to live for a week on a packet of digestive biscuits. I can’t look at a digestive biscuit without remembering! You’re very kind to watch my videos as they appear and leave such thoughtful comments. It is very much appreciated.

The colors in this fabric are so pretty! I'd never heard the flowers of the 60s described that way before but you are so right! They DO look like they were drawn by children!😆 "Collapse into bed nighty..." ❤️🤣 I love it! I love when a sewing project is an easy win. It's so refreshing when you can just enjoy the sewing and not struggle with fit or intricacies. A zen project. 💙💚🩵 Oh my goodness where have I been all my life?! How have I never heard of a house rabbit or rescue house rabbit?!? I love that!!! ❤️ 🐇 Your night dress turned out adorable! Thank you so much for sharing!

Yes, house rabbits use a litter tray like cats! I loved my house bunnies (I did nearly get fried a few times because of nibbled electrical cables but otherwise they were ideal pets). Sadly I do not feel I can trust the dogs with a bunny companion!! It was totally a zen project … cheerful fabric, no awful surprises along the way, fit guaranteed 😆 Perhaps 🤔 I should sew large sacks with a drawstring more often! And totally cosy too. Thank you for all your support 😁💙💚

Thank you very much! I got it from Little Greene, they produced some designs from 18th century originals a few years ago. I could only afford enough for one wall. Actually my mum chose a different one for the wall behind her bed! They’re all lovely! 💗

I always look forward to your next video. I love your little stories and ramblings and sense of humor. Lucky to debt collecting guy didn't take your Barbar book! I still have some of my books from childhood. The nighty turned out lovely, I thought that pattern might be too bulky, but it falls nicely. Lovely fabric too.

I must admit my mother made a summer nighty from this pattern and was reassuring that it looked pretty on … otherwise I would have started worrying I’d look like I was wearing a sack! I’m so pleased you enjoy my ramblings. I never know if I should but then I watch all the vintage and historical sewing KZbinrs and I like to know a bit about who they are (I am nosey though 😆) Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging comment! 💗🌸

Your ramblings and any funny little stories are not the same as say those contrived videos where You Tubers answer a whole list of viewers personal questions. As a viewer I can't stand those videos, I don't watch them as it destroys the mystique, and I have even strangely thought differently of You Tubers who even film such a video. However, for you as a You Tuber, I think it natural that you might be curious of your other fellow You Tubers, I get that. 😊

@@janelle545 I know exactly what you mean about the contrived chatty videos that aren’t really chatty at all. I once scripted a video and it was awful! Now I have no idea what I’m going to say before I start. Apart from the Walkaway dress video, which attracted a wider and more critical audience, everyone has been so friendly. So I just feel like I’m talking to friends and say what comes into my head. I suspect the videos I enjoy by other KZbinrs are the more natural asides too! 😁

I was kind of a fan of the collapse in bed nighty name 😆🤣 This nighty is so fun and looks so comfortable. I adore that fabric you chose. 💙How wonderful that you didn’t have to set the sleeves. I have a pattern from the 60s that is similar to that one except it’s a day dress not a nighty. It has that same kind of neckline that is cinched with a ribbon. I need to make it at some point🪡. Loved the 60’s children’s books too! 📚

Thank you very much Katie! I knew you would get the 60s aesthetic! Yes the brushed cotton is so amazingly soft and comfortable, and the fabric print is so cheerful. It’s freezing, rainy with grey skies in the UK at the moment - complete hibernation weather - so I needed a jolly nighty! 💗💐
