Beautiful! It was such an odd sight for me to see you go outside and there was kangaroos right there! We just don’t have them in the mountains of BC. Bears, mountain lions and wolves yes, kangaroos no. Would love that gorgeous pattern, so beautifully made. 😊

The view at the beginning looks similar to the Moray Firth where it overlooks the top of the Black Isle in Northern Scotland - minus the kangaroos of course. Lovely video again!

Hi there, loved the Kangaroo Island setting. Were you using linen thread in your sewing machine? I've bought Guterman waxed linen thread from Spotlight and have used it for hand sewing (hemming linen trousers), but have read that you can use a wool machine needle for linen thread. It is so annoying to buy linen from China online and find they used polyester thread that feels itchy on my skin.

Which Janome machine do you use? Would love to buy a Juki (congrats) but $$$! I currently work in a 1960s Elna Lotus. It’s fab for portability (took mine on a trip to KI!) but it’s not great at running effortlessly through thicker fabrics and layers. Thanks!
