Yes. Me, too. I have heat but my limited budget means I don't use it much. I prefer a knit cap during the day, but at night a hoody stays on much better. I thought I was probably the only one. 😄 This tunic pattern looks very versatile. I really love the fabric you used.

I really, really like this pattern. I'd wear that hooded top in a heartbeat. I really like the way you used a lighter weight knit, kind of like an eyelet, because I live in warm weather and I never get to wear this kind of thing anymore! I love a slouchy hoodie, but with a straight hem. This looks like just that, with a v-neckline as a bonus. The tunic is just the right length for you - those mitered corners are a nice couture touch - overall a total win. I agree with you about the boat neckline version - pretty but much too high for my liking. You look fabulous, dahling! 😂❤️

I have this pattern, you’ve inspired me to bump it up my seeing queue! Actually I’m currently making the sherry dress from 5oo4 after seeing your video on that. It’s coming together really nicely so thank you for the recommendation. Also just to add how much I love hearing you mention NZ every now and again (and using the phrase ‘sweet ‘). If I sewed the right side of collar to wrong side of neckline do you think the seam would be invisible at the collars shortest point ?(the overlap). You always look wonderful in your pictures but this shirt with your jeans make you look 10 years younger! I have to try this collar!
@LiftingPinsandNeedles4 жыл бұрын
I think it would be visible in a tiny area and if you have long hair, it should cover it :)

Just bought this, I hope it used your affliate link. I'm happy to do an FBA it's worth noting this sadly DOESN'T have a full bust piece :(
@LiftingPinsandNeedles4 жыл бұрын
On the chart it says “full bust” and that’s the terminology used with the patterns that have a full bust option (as opposed to standard bust). I apologize about that. When I saw the “full bust” words, I immediately liked that to “full bust piece”.
@user-ff2sj5zv8v4 жыл бұрын
@@LiftingPinsandNeedles no worries I made the same mistake too I got all excited thinking it had been updated but no matter it's still a great pattern and not one I'd really taken any notice of before, I have a number of LN patterns and I enjoy them all. Perhaps Tami will do an update when she has time in her busy schedule :)

Hi Karina, I love your channel and watch your videos. I am relatively new to sewing with knits and I know it is really important to find the grainline of a jersey knit. I have a cotton jersey with a little spandex in a white and black stripe that I pre-washed. After washing, the grain line is completely off. When I place my pattern so the stripes are perpendicular to the center, and I can match stripes on the sides seams, I can see the grainline completely so far off that I know the top will not hang straight. I would appreciate any advice or opinion you might have on using this fabric. Thank you and keep making these videos, your energy is contagious.
