Sewing a Vintage Apron (perfect for spring!)

I've been in a bit of a sewing rut lately... or a lack-of-sewing-rut, more specifically! lol! I havn't wanted to deal with fit issues, fiddly techniques, long processes, or most of the usual sewing difficulties! Instead, I've been drawn to projects that are straightforward and efficient, while still yielding cute results. A vintage-inspired apron fit the bill perfectly! :) When I didn't have enough fabric to make a favorite 1940s pattern, I created a simplified version of the original. The modified apron needed less fabric, less work, and less time. (Don't worry- it still had plenty of retro charm!)
