I have a Kenmore model 1937. It is also from the 70’s. It sure is a sturdy machine. I can relate to your machine although they do differ slightly. Thanks for the video and precise tutorial.

The vlogger off of Vintage Sewing Machine Garage says these Kenmores are just as good as today’s Berninas! I believe it. Enjoy that machine!

HI . oh my I'm am so confused but I think you are right in the direction of the bobbin case thread going CLOCKWISE. I have been doing it counter clockwise for the last few years and have had nothing but problems. I just saw another vid that said clockwise , like your video, and it worked !! finally something that resembles stitches not just upper and lower thread that holds together but looks ugly. Thanks for re affirming this !
