The quilting looks so lovely and you can hardly see the thread. Did you use an invisible thread? Or different coloured threads for top and bottom? Perhaps you could do a video on the topic ‘quilting’? Thank you for these videos they are well thought out and very clear instructions. 🥰

I just found this video for a sewing machine cover. I want to make one, but would like to make the top so it has a place for the handle to go thru. Would that be a hard step to do? It would help when I had to have my machine serviced.

How do I customize the measurements to my sewing machines? I have several that I would like to cover. Thank you.

Hi Linda. This video is going to be revised soon to include how to measure your machine. In the meantime, for each machine measure the height, width, and depth (front to back). Use your height and width measurements to cut the front and back sections. Add the measurements of the 2 sides and height to use for the length of the gusset (piece that covers the side and top). Use the depth measurement to cut the width of the gusset. Add 1/2" seam allowance to all final measurements. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
