Another comprehensive & practical video. I can confirm that upping your needle size when quilting is a game changer. I also invested in a walking foot (fantastic !) but as with thread, needles & fabric I learned the hard way that buying cheap is a "fausse économie" as we say here in France. After machine piecing & hand quilting my first quilt with cheap material & thread, NEVER AGAIN !!!!! Merci beaucoup for your help ma belle x

Merci et vous êtes les bienvenus 🙏 (is that correct??). We have the same phrase here about false economy. Another saying is 'buy cheap, buy twice'! Sewing machines definitely like quality 😍 Kim xx

@@QuiltWithKim "Vous êtes les bienvenus" means simply "Welcome" whereas "je vous en prie" translates "you're welcome". French is VERY flowery ; )

Ah-ha...what about "You're very welcome" (which is what I was trying to say...obviously not very well 😂). Would that be "Je vous en tres prie"? (I can't do the proper e in tres on my keyboard!). x

@@QuiltWithKim Oh wow Kim. You're not only a fantastic needlewoman but you can speak another language too. You never cease to amaze us. 😂Thanks as always for an easy to follow video Kim. 🤗

Hmmm, I’m not sure I’d take it *that* far Jayne 😅 My second language abilities don’t go very far, although I probably wouldn’t starve in France 😀 x

Could people who watch Kims videos try to remember to click on the thumbs up please. Its a big help for Kim. I've noticed on this video that 104 people have watched it but only 14 have given a thumbs up. 🙄
