I think the sleeve length looks fine and Eileen Fisher garments are featuring that length in their 2020 designs. Cute dress. It turned out great. Wow your hair has really gown out since we last saw you. You will be able to get it cut now and it will look almost grown out with some intentional looking black streaks. Happy New Year.

Cute make, I love the hem facings for curved hems, they come together much nicer. I’m finishing a dress for my daughter, she sent a pic and wanted me to dupe it, and although it’s not a woven, I did find a plaid knit so it will be quite comfy for her. Your hair is looking fabulous, I went natural 2 years ago, got it all grown out, then bam, found out I had breast cancer. Surgery complete, chemo took my new hair, so starting over again! It’s good to be healthy! Happy new year!

Lovely to see you back. I have this pattern and I made the collarless version in a rather heavy linen mix, it didn't turn out well. I don't blame the pattern, me and the fabric. I will try it again because yours looks great. Thank you for doing these clogs and look forward to seeing you regularly.

Welcome back. Your hair is so pretty! I‘ve been meaning to to pick up that shirt dress pattern- good to know it has some ease built in. I think it will make a nice transitional piece for spring. Wearing it as a tunic is also a great idea and will be great for work (primary school teacher) as it allows for active movement. I love dresses but they are not always practical. Have a wonderful New Year!

Reggie 72 its a great idea to wear it as a tunic. I do this and it's very comfortable. My sister is a primary teacher and she also find it hard to wear dresses. This pattern is very comfortable so it might be worth giving it a go. 😊🤘

Beautiful job on this dress! Your pattern matching is impressive (despite what you said) and the fit perfect. When sitting, I really liked the sleeve length, but when you stood up, I could see what you meant. The short dress length threw off the design balance. Totally agree, this is a terrific repeatable over and over pattern. So nice to have you back. Difficult when someone passes, even more so in a holiday period. Wishing you a wonderful New Year!!

I think it is the fabric that reminds me of Christmas PJs. I'm sure it will look really nice in the more summery fabrics you were thinking of making it in.
