The fabrics for the playsuit and skirt together look appropriately vintage/retro to me - if not, I think they're separates, so just don't wear them together, I guess 😄! Funny how seeing a pattern made by someone can make us want it, too. Good luck with your Zumba class!

OMG that dress that Stacie made that you’re doing as well is gorgeous! I am always looking for lightweight dress patterns because I live in Texas, and we are triple digit heat all of August. Can’t wait to see your take on the pattern. Edit to say: I had a fabric choice that my husband was nervous about, but it turned out great (he really loves the dress, too, now that it’s done). Don’t let other folks talk you out of doing something that you will love.

Great sewing plans! Love your fabric! I did not pick up the Sew Your View pattern because I just don’t see how I can make my bust lift without a bra that would show. I’m sure yours will be fabulous!!!! Looking forward to your other makes too! ❤

Love the video and the idea of making ties instead of straps; great recommendation since I share the bra issue. Since I’m new to sewing I find that I can definitely benefit from a body form for pinning my garments. Can you recommend one like the one you have in the video?
