Hi Emma, I just found you a few days ago and have been bingeing on your videos. I do enjoy them so much and love seeing your projects. My mother is British (from Ipswich, Suffolk) and has said she learned to sew and knit from a very young age...she is now 86 and a master knitter, but she passed on her love of sewing to me. I love to make teddy bears and other stuffed toys but have a keen interest in quilting. I, too, was born in Ipswich (had dual citizenship) but now live in the USA. The most fun I have had in sewing was making stuffed dinosaurs for my two young grandsons! And I have been sewing since I was a child. Thank you for your inspirational videos! You are amazing! 🙂

I’d love to see your grans treasures. I have an embroidery that my grandmas sister made for her wedding present in the 1930s . I’m 52 now and it’s one of my most treasured belongings 🤗

Hi Emma, I loved your video, your ideas on stitching with foam is a "must try" for me. Your sewing room is BEAUTIFUL! I would never want to leave it. I LOVE your hexi box idea! I will have to be making myself one! And, YES!, a LOT of us crafty people are going through these ups and downs right now. Hang in there! Have you thought of doing some online Live, Facebook or KZbin sessions? A quilting group I'm a part of (Lisa Capen Quilts' Creative Crew) had Zoom meetings with whoever wanted to join and just have a time of each person doing their own craft while chatting about whatever and getting to know each other. Maybe that would bring some sunshine into your life!🤗😁

Broke my wrist from a fall helping neighbors move a stove into her home... ouch. Been almost 6 weeks so pray I get wrist brace today 🤕not able to do much of anything and so hard adjusting to one hand tasks... enjoying your videos again about your life and keeps me sane while healing. So glad you're enjoying your crafts and always lovely color combinations. I do love the bright floral fabrics. Your small foam boxes are just so ingenious. What a lovely room Emma, my sewing area needs a good sort out and at the moment I close the door and craft downstairs! I have completed the seasons wall hanging and really really enjoyed sewing it just the binding to do and I can hang it in my dining area, thank you so much for making it available to us all. I will now be getting the hexi box and having a go at that, they look so beautiful, my local sewing shop is still closed so I will have to wait to get some material (I like to browse and feel the cloth before I buy!!) Great sewing room Emma! I have a box room (No room for a table) but I love it, I have a mixture of boxes, Ikea shelves and side table too. I'd be interested to see your Nana's things. Lovely comfy room - I think I'd tuck that chair with a little table in the nook so you can see out the window - but the room has to work for you, so just a suggestion. I know you will continue to adjust and make it comfortable for yourself.

Hello Emma, I cannot express how thrilled I am that I came across your KZbin channel. You are such a beautiful and talented young lady. I have been binge watching your videos and I cannot thank you enough for sharing your incredible gifts with us. You are such a treasure! I have wanted to get into EPP for years but have been to intimidated to try. I sew, quilt, crochet, cross stich and paper craft. I have always wanted to take on embroidery as well and watching your stitching techniques has finally made me want to give it a try. I will be 50 at the end of August this year and I struggle with severe anxiety, I am determined that I will learn this before the big 50, then I can spend the next couple of years trying to perfect my stitching lol. I Thank you for being such a light in these dark and difficult times. I pray that God continues to bless you and your family dear. I would love to know where you found your little "house" sewing boxes, and if you made them (which wouldn't surprise me with all your talent) would you ever consider doing a tutorial on how to make one?

The house sewing boxes are from Cath Kidston, I’ve collected them over the years, they don’t make them anymore though. I do have some house sewing patterns in the works though 😊
