you're very welcome! ...although I HAVE seen several regimental kilts- all made in 1941-42 by a respected firm in Glasgow- in which the steeking goes 'through-and-through', almost as though it was done by a sewing machine. it was horribly visible from the outside. I wonder if the shop had lost some of their talented workers to Conscription, and that this was the work of 'the new guy'...

It's a wonderful service you're doing. I'm one kilt in and your videos have been a fantastic tool for me along with the Art of Kiltmaking. Already eyeing up making my second kilt! Many thanks from Edinburgh! :D
