Was just debating getting one of these; thanks for the illustration of uses. I’ve been doing this kind of thing freehand or just with notches with a straight ruler. This will be neater!

I was hoping this video would tell me how to measure with a french curve ruler. There are numbers on it for a reason. It's got to do more than just a tracing tool.

Hi! Thanks for reaching out. French rulers can be metric or Englished base measurements. Identify which ruler you have first. Determine a starting point and ending point you would like to measure. Next, use your ruler to measure the distance.
