@@checkthebush6500 haha no that's not why. I believe in voter ID laws. My sister in law does not. I brought up the countless things that you are required to have an ID for, and her response was, "Well the black community doesn't have the ability to get IDs because they're too poor! You're just racist and don't want black people voting!" Yeah, she called black people too poor to get IDs, and then thinks I'm racist. Another one; I worked in an Italian restaurant and a white man and his black wife sat themselves on the patio, when the patio was closed down, and there was no one out there. They had to jump the fence (it was very short, so this was easy for them) because we kept the patio locked when it was closed. After waiting 15 minutes they came into the restaurant yelling and hollering that the racist wait staff refused to wait on them for being an interracial couple. The manager they were yelling at is biracial, half black, half white. Everyone has a story like that one, and that's why calling people a racist has lost all power.

It’s crazy how much twins fascinate people. There have been continual studies, especially on children given up for adoption! My mom is a twin, so I’m just glad she was never part of any test.

I have twin sisters. After growing up around them, and other twins, even the mirror-identical ones start to look like different people. Aside from their personalities, there's always a laundry list of physical things to differentiate the two people. Growing up around twins helped me a lot in picking out which is which, and they are very different people. So this whole fascination with twins is kind of strange to me. And though I can get the wow-factor of twins, when it's all said and done, they're just people. They're not completely identical science fiction borg clones down to the very last molecule. XD
@amyness3452
@amyness3452 2 жыл бұрын
Not all twins-only the identical kind, mostly. And for obvious reasons. Two genetically identical people, that somehow are different, makes for a thousand questions on life, the universe, and everything. Not to mention that, for medical tests, one can act as a control to a far better degree than anyone else.

For someone who knew Mengele in Brazil, it's difficult to believe he was this monster. He was a nice doctor, often attending poor people for free. Maybe this was how he evaded justice while other Nazis like Eichmann were easily tracked down. There is a tale that a Polish nurse working in Brazil recognized him and called the authorities. The authorities refused to believe her, because a so nice man couldn't have been that monster. They even tried to convince her that she was so traumatized by the war that even a Mengele lookalike could startle her.

don't think there were such things as Horror movies back in the 1940's.... or where do you think Horror movies came from originally ? Indeed. from the Human Mind. No need for movies either, as WW2 already was one never ending real life Horror movie in and all by itself.

It's so scary how cruel humans can actually be, it almost feels surreal 😥 Knowing that legal experiments as horrible as these, but on animals still exist, really makes me think...
