Thank you for this, new sewer over all just over a year and half, but started with woven only and recently started knit. Still learning knit but I would say a confident beginner. I am watching this video and saw this dress as garment for my Granddaughter. Joined and am looking through the lovely patterns you. Your video made sense to me and the only question I have is the basting stitch what would I choose for the stitch.

Which needle ball or universal to sew a knit to a woven?

I usually use a ballpoint needle so that may sewing machine doesn't get caught on the knit fabric ❤️
