That double gauze with gold dots looks fab on you 🤗. Had to order some and found it on sale in pound Fabrics for £6.40 a metre and had to buy 2 colourways ❤. Love all those makes Sian xxx

❤❤❤ the gingham dress. The big buttons look amazing. I'm a big fan of a full gathered skirt. Whenever I look at fabric now, (and sometimes buy....) I think "I need to get more to make a dress and a top". You've convinced me!

Love all the makes but especially the gingham dress! 😍 The panels on the diagonal work so well and the full gathered skirt matches the overall vibe of the dress. And the stripes do show the clever seams on the Halston skirt well, just not at a socially acceptable distance. 😉 Still, theory proven and to be improved upon in the next version. ❤

Everything is beautiful, as always! I love the maxi floral dress. I have yet to find a nice double gauze to make clothes out of. Most of what I have seen is for making baby things. Maybe I can find some next year when I am across the pond! We are planning August!

I love all the things you make. You are an inspiration to a lot of people. As a lady of a certain age it's importation to have things you enjoy to immerse yourself in. I live alone with a dog and over the years you have become like a friend. I really enjoy everything you make. You have encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone. I have made so many different outfits I would never have tried Before. I may be over dressed but I'm happy in myself. Thank you for that. I hope one day to come to the sewing retreat. I live in Canada and right now a £ is almost $2.00 that is hefty for a senior. Please keep doing what your doing my friend knowing there are so many like me learning so much from you your friend Linda

Hi, I just love the orange floral maxi dress and the orange floral cowl blouse - just perfect. I am in the process of sewing my first cowl blouse (where the pleats flow from one shoulder) and I am delighted with how flattering it is. Your handbag is stunning and I am sure this 0:30 will be a pleasure to use over your summer. 🌸

I'm always buying extra fabric so I can make two items! You described the feeling of fabric paralysis so well! I totally relate! I really liked the white contrast collar with the stripey dress, even before you started talking about it. On camera, it's hard to notice the stiffens in weight of the lining and fashion fabrics, so I get why it might bother you, but the contrast is really lovely and highlights the beautiful shape of the neckline and collar m

The orange floral fabric is fabulous, it was absolutely the right decision to buy all they had left! 😍 The dress is lovely, the colours and style really suit you. (I have that pattern but I need to majorly tweak it to make it work for me - it's far too boobilicious for a woman of my vintage 🤷♀️ I'll get it right eventually, I hope!) Lovely to see you smiling and looking gorgeous, Sian, stay happy 😊

I like the fact you sew things the way you want them sewn! It give me inspiration to do them same. P.S. I’ve been trying for years now to figure out who you remind me of and finally figured it out after rewatching Van Helsing today. You look like Anna!! Without the curls ❤❤❤❤❤ especially when you wear piratey things 😊

As usual, I like all your makes. 💜 My favourite is probably the gingham dress (shirt too). It was also interesting to see the double gauze shirt. In the heat wave we have I was wondering a lot about that type of fabric. It was nice to see you successfully mare something more fitted out of it.

Great video. I wonder if you paired the sage stripe outfit with the gold/yellow/ochre shrug… for just a bit more contrast!?!? As you said, you think it’ll go well with everything! I’m still intrigued by the Bruyere shirt… I’m not a fan of leggings on myself but I do like the style of the shirt. Thanks for sharing. (BTW, does chocolate really do that much to one’s weight?!?!) 😮. 😉

The bias-cut yoke and midriff are great details on the green gingham M7974, and the gold-tone snaps on the Bruyere were a stroke of genius. I like the contrast collar on the V9345, and the floppiness of the viscose doesn't seem like a problem to me, visually speaking; my only concern would be the different shrinkage rates of cotton and viscose when laundered, but one can take steps to mitigate that, of course.
