How To Make Your Sewing Patterns Work Hard For You! M7974 Six Different Ways! Easy Pattern Hacking!

Hey Peeps! We all know I am a serial pattern repeater. Picking different fabrics, sleeve options, skirt options and finishing details can give you multiple looks from one pattern. I love making a bodice exactly right for me and then tweaking all the different options to make multiple variations. It's amazing what a different fabric weight, style line or print choice can do for your favourite pattern. I've made 9 of the M7974 so far but there will definitely be more! I'm thinking a tulip sleeve and an a-line skirt next for a 40's inspired dress. What do you think? Do you make multiples?
