missed you chessie! this was so cute! im glad you’re back doing something you enjoy ♡ the closest i’ve ever come to sewing is using fabric scissors to cut the bottoms of my pants so they’re not so long on me 😂 but i love seeing what people can create with it! i think a cute future video idea would be to do a try on haul of all the clothes/bags/accessories that you made!! ♡

I love this pivot! No idea if you would remember me but I’ve been a subscriber for ages. I too kind of pivoted my interests from beauty to crafting-I do crochet and knit now as a creative outlet. I have a sewing machine too but haven’t been able to get a hang of the basics to get really into it. I might give that little bag a try! I’d be down to sew along with you if you ever do more basic tutorials/sew-with-me type of videos. 😁🩷

Syd I totally remember!! Of course. After learning some of the basics of sewing and being introduced into this whole new world of sewing, I could totally see myself also being interested in knitting and crocheting in the future. Esmeralda, that is SO awesome. We need to be the generation to bring sewing back. I saw a TikTok recently about how seamstresses and shoemakers are basically going extinct. This is such a useful skill more people should embrace and know! I’m excited for you

I’m excited you’re back and for this pivot! I actually got back into sewing this year too as a NY resolution. I’ve been using my mom’s old sewing machine and slowing working towards making a summer wardrobe to keep me from buying new clothes lol. One advice I’ve seen is to thrift fabrics instead of always buying them new, which you’re doing and inspiring me to do it too! Can’t wait to see more of your journey and sewing content!
