Congratulations on winning the trip to Mexico! You'll have a fabulous time. Many years ago I won a trip to London from KROQ. You're right about quilters and Featherweights. My friend is a quilter and took me to a store in Carpenteria where the refurbish and do specialty painting of Featherweights.

It really is. My Dad was just going to give it to Goodwill but I snatched it up. :)

Congrats on winning a trip! Mexico vacation sounds really, really nice! (We are buried in deep snow where I live right now) And a beautiful feather weight 💕 I have a singer 201 and I believe some of their accessories are interchangeable..? Looking forward to projects made on the machine❣️

Thank you! I don't know about accessories for this machine. I do know that it only sews a straight stitch. My great aunt made buttonholes by hand or did a bound buttonhole. And instead of a zig zag to finish seams she would sew french seams or do an overcast stitch by hand.

That featherweight is a very special machine. Hope you enjoy it for many years. Do you have a copy of the instruction manual?

Thank you! Yes, I do have the manual. I even have an old bottle of oil that goes with it. It was in fairly good shape. The shop just fixed the tension and replaced the rubber pads on the bottom.
