I heard that 100000000 times from my mom when I was learning to sew. "If you messed up a seam allowance somewhere, find it and fix it!" when you said that i almost spit out my drink.

Ben was Mr Diva today :D strutting his self in front of the camera and meowing for us. So precious. My Sebastian sometimes does that when I'm trying to sew too. LOL I love the changes you made to the bag and can't wait to make one. It'll have to wait though because I broke my leg and I can't get to my machine. :( As always great tutorial.

This is one of my favorites you've made! That rose gold vinyl and hardware - swoon!! You need to find out the distributor for that and keep it in stock. The only thing I would change would be to put a snap on the back outer slip pocket because it's so big. I wish you'd modeled it to see how big it is against a body. Gorgeous bag!

I’ve made three of these so far ...love this bag! Would love to see a tutorial on adding a top zip closure to this bag 😁
@LaurenMormino5 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah! It wouldn’t be hard. You would make a recessed zipper panel and cut it about 1.5” smaller than the width of the main panel and add it to the bag after basting the flap

Love Ben. My kitty Sam was sitting on my lap when Ben came up to the camera. He was fascinated. Where do you get the small containers you keep your hardware in? They are the perfect size. Love this video. One of my customers was asking for a messenger bag and now I know which one I want to use. Thanks for all your amazing videos. They are so helpful. Happy New Year.

Lauren: Please assist: I am planning on getting a Juki DU-1181N like you have. My question is, for making all your bags, what distance do you need between the far edge of the long side of the 1181's table and a wall? Can I (unlikely) jam the table right up to the wall? How much space would you estimate is required? Thanks for your reply! Wow! In the intro to this video you showed (some of) your stock! Do you pre-select fabrics in the hope customers will want it, and then pre-make the bags; or do you allow customers to select any fabric, and then make the bag sort of like a custom order? What % of your bag business is done each way?
@LaurenMormino4 жыл бұрын
I honestly don’t believe you need too much of the left side of the table if space is the constraint!
@LaurenMormino4 жыл бұрын
I would say I do 70% of making whatever I want to and hopes it will sell & 30% custom orders where the customer can pick from some fabrics vinyls/leather etc!
