Working on this pattern and so excited! Question about the front bodice darts - I've read generally they should stop at least an inch from the nipple and I just sewed mine per the pattern and it looks like it hits right at (or close to) the nipple. I can't quite tell but it seems like maybe the model dresses also do this so is that intentional? Trying to decide if it's worth taking a step back and reworking it. Thanks!

I love this new dress! Wow, you're so talented & love the colour combos you used. I'm thinking that maybe I could use bias binding for the neckline instead of the neckband as I don't like 'high things' around my neck because of a scar there, so I'm now I'm super keen to try this!

@SewingTherapy Жыл бұрын
I don’t think the patch pocket would complement this dress well because of the pleats. If you’d like to incorporate inseam pockets, it would be necessary to separate the skirt panel into three pieces. ☺️

Hello! I would love to sew this dress but what hinders me from purchasing this and also the wrap skirt is that there are no pockets included. Would you consider making a tutorial on how to add pockets to your patterns? My sewing skills are not great and I dread to spoil the garments trying to make this on my own, especially regarding placement of the pockets, since both garments are wrap style. I am sure I am not the only one who really cannot wear garments without pockets, it is very essential. 🙂

I wouldn't mind at all nor would my mother. My grandson loves to wear the three traditional that I sewed for him. He is four and is the whitest person I've ever seen. We were at a store and my mother was in a different part, then some know it all teenager went up to us and freaked out about cultural appropriation and my grandson has no right. I told her to get a life. My mother approached her and she lost her temper at this girl. When she tried to plead with her in Korean, my mother switched to yelling at her in Korean and then every possible insult came out. Basically my mother made it clear that to the kid that she had no right saying anything about her great grandson. And that I have every right to dress my grandson as I pleased. Only person who ever objected to the Hanbok. At 104 years old, my mother scares everyone who meets her. I am saving the Hanbok that my mother bought me as a baby for any granddaughter that is born.
