A very cute and versatile project. I have some of that camper fabric! I made a bag for a friend out of it and then made myself a little travel bag. It's such cute fabric!

Thank you Andrea for this practical and versatile little bag. I'm thinking it would be good to put my English paper piecing shapes in for on the go projects. I don't need to take the entire project with me, just enough pieces to sew together on the bus or train etc. Will Tuck nicely into my tote and keep everything together and will be easy to get into. Also, on the other hand, one would be good to have near my overlocker to sweep the threads into. You keep me busy.

I love the project bag concept Sue and so appreciate you sharing. I want to sit on the train next to you and watch you stitch. ❤️

Once again you have created such a cute and versatile project. With all of the grandbabies here at Christmas time the stockings have a tendency to get full. The can be made with adorable kiddos fabric and hung on the stocking hooks filled with goodies . Then they can put all kinds of things in them later. Thank you my dear and I can't wait till next Tuesday.

Oh yes, it is fun to get creative with the materials...maybe even quilt the upper portion too. Let me know what you decide upon.

I inherited a lot of button: some are vintage and some different colors. I separated mine all by color and put them into individual containers labeled by color!

If you add a covered button to it, you can also use it as a gift bag!!

I struggle with the turning to right side....I do want to use interfacing so my question is this: can I leave my hole in the base of the lining so I could make it larger and just stitch the hanger loop to the top and just skip the hole in that step??? I think for me it will make it easier and then most likely neater where your opening is. Am I making sense? hahahaha Thanks:)
