How did you begin to explain what an Ostomy is to your partner?

Amy from KS, had my “pocket” since 2015. This and swimming are my two unconquered areas. 2018 during my 1st NED colonoscopy my bowel was perforated and sent me septic multiple times and then developed compartment syndrome and was put in a medical comma for 5 weeks. Now 33 new scars later and only 8 in of TOTAL digestive tract, always looking for new tips. I would love to find some ostomy “pretty” panties that have a snap or Velcro closure in the crotch while still supporting the ostomy. Am I looking in the wrong places?
